Does IntegrateSun Serve Your Florida Address?

IntegrateSun accepts residential solar projects throughout Florida.

Whether we can move forward with an installation depends on your property, electric utility, system requirements, and project eligibility.

To get started, share your property address and electricity information through our residential quote form. Our team will review your project details, confirm the next steps, and discuss available solar options.

How Solar Panel Installation Works in Florida

Installing solar involves more than mounting panels on your roof. Your system must be designed for your property, meet applicable requirements, and receive the necessary approvals before final activation.

1. Home and Electricity Review

We begin by reviewing your property, electricity usage, utility information, and solar goals. Your recent electric bills help determine what a suitable system might need to produce.

2. System Design and Proposal

Your proposal outlines the proposed system size, major equipment, expected electricity production, and project costs. Available financing or payment arrangements can also be discussed.

Equipment and payment options depend on project eligibility and current program availability.

3. Permits and Installation

The project moves through applicable design approvals, permitting, and installation requirements. IntegrateSun uses both company employees and subcontractors for residential solar installations.

4. Inspection and Utility Approval

After installation, the system must satisfy applicable inspections and utility interconnection requirements. Final activation follows the required authorization process, including Permission to Operate (PTO) where applicable.

How Long Does Installation Take?

IntegrateSun currently estimates approximately 60–90 days from signing the residential agreement to PTO and final activation.

This is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed completion date or a measured Florida-specific average. Actual project duration depends on system design, permitting, equipment availability, installation, inspections, utility requirements, and any project-specific corrections.

Florida Electrical Contractor License and Warranty Coverage

IntegrateSun holds Florida Electrical Contractor License EC13011261. You can verify this credential through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

IntegrateSun's Workmanship Warranty

Under the current residential agreement, IntegrateSun warrants its installation work against defects in construction and workmanship for 25 years following Completed Installation.

The agreement also includes:

  • A five-year roof penetration warranty

  • Lifetime connection with an online monitoring system

  • Transferable warranties

Coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable agreement.

Manufacturer Product and Performance Warranties

Solar panels and other equipment may carry separate manufacturer product and performance warranties. The coverage and duration depend on the specific equipment installed.

IntegrateSun does not provide a separate electricity-production guarantee. Manufacturer panel-performance warranties are distinct from IntegrateSun's installation workmanship warranty.

Florida Utility Requirements and Net Metering

Your electric utility plays an important role in how a residential solar system connects to the grid and how electricity exported from your system is treated.

Florida's investor-owned utilities operate under the state's net-metering framework for eligible customer-owned renewable-energy systems.

However, specific interconnection requirements, billing arrangements, and applicable programs depend on your utility and system.

Before installing solar, it's important to understand your utility's requirements, how exported electricity is credited, and what approvals are needed before your system can operate.

Solar Installation Cost, Financing and Incentives in Florida

The cost of installing solar panels depends on your system size, equipment, roof conditions, electrical upgrades, battery options, and installation requirements.

When comparing proposals, look beyond the monthly payment. Review the full project price, expected electricity production, equipment warranties, financing terms, and total payments.

Florida Solar Tax Benefits

Florida offers a sales and use tax exemption for qualifying solar-energy equipment. State law also provides favorable property-tax treatment for eligible residential renewable-energy devices.

The former 30% federal Residential Clean Energy Credit is no longer available for residential installations completed after December 31, 2025.

Solar Financing Options

Payment and financing options depend on your project, financing provider, and current program availability.

Before choosing an offer, compare the amount financed, interest rate, repayment period, total payments, and ownership terms.

Solar and Battery Backup Options in Florida

Adding battery storage to your solar system may help you maintain electricity for selected household needs during a power outage.

However, a battery does not automatically mean your entire home can operate during an outage. Backup capability depends on battery capacity, power output, household electricity loads, system configuration, and the equipment selected.

For example, running a central air conditioner may require a different battery configuration than backing up lighting, refrigeration, and essential outlets.

IntegrateSun can discuss battery storage as part of your residential solar proposal. Equipment availability and the appropriate system configuration must be confirmed for your project.

Frequently Asked Questions About Solar Installation in Florida

Does IntegrateSun Install Solar Panels Throughout Florida?

Florida is a current residential service market for IntegrateSun, but installation eligibility must be confirmed for your address. Share your location and utility information so our team can review whether your project falls within our current service capabilities.

How Long Does Solar Installation Take in Florida?

IntegrateSun currently estimates approximately 60–90 days from contract signing to Permission to Operate (PTO) and final activation. This is a planning estimate, not a guaranteed timeline or measured Florida-specific average. Permitting, inspections, utility approvals, equipment availability, and project-specific requirements can affect completion.

Do Florida Homeowners Still Qualify for the 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit?

No. The federal Residential Clean Energy Credit under Section 25D is no longer available for qualifying residential installations completed after December 31, 2025. Florida's applicable state tax exemptions are separate from the expired federal credit.

Will My Solar Panels Work During a Power Outage?

Standard grid-connected solar systems generally shut down during an outage for safety. Continued electricity supply requires appropriately configured backup equipment. The appliances your system can support depend on battery capacity, power output, system design, and household electricity loads.

Does IntegrateSun Replace Roofs Before Solar Installation?

No. IntegrateSun does not perform roof replacement or operate a formal roofing-partner program. If your roof needs work, our team may refer you to independent local roofing contractors. Roofing arrangements remain separate from the solar installation.

Does IntegrateSun Guarantee Solar Electricity Production?

No. IntegrateSun does not provide a separate electricity-production guarantee. Its residential agreement includes installation workmanship coverage, while applicable equipment product and performance warranties are provided separately by manufacturers.
